GINGER DATA (DRAWN), 2016
This work, consisting of 7 drawings of varying media, is a study of 500+ ginger (red headed) people, which the artist has collected since 2010. Both quantitative and qualitative data is used to create these visualisations. The study exposes certain physical characteristics, behaviours and outlooks of gingers. The study in itself, as well as the obsessive methodology, is meant as a critique of the often pseudoscientific process of human classification by random attributes such as skin, and in this case hair.
